Lotte Home Shopping Inc. announced on Thursday that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with French fashion brand Aigle, marking a significant expansion of its international brand portfolio.

The signing ceremony took place Wednesday at Lotte Home Shopping’s headquarters in Yeongdeungpo, western Seoul. The ceremony was attended by Kim Jae-gyeom, chief executive officer of Lotte Home Shopping, and Didier Maus, chairman of MF Brands Group, Aigle’s parent company.


The deal, which was finalized after 11 months of negotiations, grants Lotte Home Shopping exclusive rights to distribute Aigle products in Korea for up to five years.

Aigle, a functional casual brand with a 171-year history, is part of MF Brands Group, which also owns global names like Lacoste and Gant.

The French label is renowned for its handcrafted natural rubber boots and stylish outdoor apparel. To mark the partnership, Aigle will host a pop-up store at Lotte World Tower Avenuel in Jamsil, southern Seoul starting on Friday.
