SK Eamp;S Co., the natural gas power unit of South Korea’s SK Group, has appointed a new chief financial officer CFO following the promotion of its former CFO to the president of SK ecoplant Co.

SK Eamp;S on Tuesday appointed Seo Geon-ki, head of the renewable energy business, as its new CFO.


Born in 1972, Seo graduated from Sungkyunkwan University and holds an MBA from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology KAIST. He previously served as the head of SK Eamp;S’s portfolio management team.

Seo, one of the company‘s top financial experts, is known for his rational approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Industry observers suggest that the appointment reflects the company’s commitment to stability rather than change.
